Triund Trakking

Triund Trakking

Triund is a popular nine-kilometre from Dharamsala. It takes a day or you make an overnight stay on the 2827 mtrs foot ridge behind the Dhauladhar range. Food is available at tea shops. But it is always safer to carry one’s own food and drink,

There is a Forest Rest House/Banglow at the top of the ridge, which can be booked through Divsional  Forest Officer at   Dharamsala Near Distt court.

From Triund there is scenic beauty of the range that divides Dharamshala from Chamba district. In this range there is Indrahar pass through which we can go to other place. It is a tough trekk approximately 12 kms from Triund through Snowline.
